A Day at the Museum

School is out for the summer and that means I get to spend time with the grand kids.
Yesterday was my darling grandsons 9th birthday.
The special day call for a trip to the Arizona Museum of Natural History
(aka the "Dinosaur Museum") in downtown Mesa.
The kids explored every exhibit, and talked about how fun it would be if everything came to life like in the movie "Night at the Museum".
We went out to the History Courtyard so the kids could try their hand at panning for a bit of gold.
On the way home I asked DGS what he liked best...he said "all of it!"

"All of it!" - isn't that always the answer after a fun day? Happy B-lated to him!

So lucky to have the DGK's (that's Dear Grand Kids) so close. Why do mine have to live so stinkin far away?

Wow, I haven't seen pictures of these two in a long time. When did they grow up. I know I'm not getting any older, so I don't see how they could. :) It would have been a lot of fun to be with you guys. Tell the whole Brook and Chris family hello for me though I doubt the little guys would know me at all. Lots of love to you and Uncle Dave too, sorry it has been about 3 years since I've seen you. (don't worry though I'm like an AZ magnet I can't stay away for ever)
