What is a Cosmo Cricket any way?

It is that time again, when Mystic Paper Design Team captain Sheri passes out the team members kit for the month. It is always a nice surprise to see what lovely items she has selected for our projects. For the June project I received the Cosmo Cricket "Everafter" line,
beautiful colors and the bonus...it's double sided.
Also in my kit were the stickers that go along with the paper
and contrasting ribbon...too fun!
The patterned paper is a bit retro, but not so over the top it couldn't be used for a variety of projects,Heritage, Wedding, Anniversarys, Birthdays...check it out at Mystic and see what ideas you can come up with. I'll post my project as soon as I finish!
You can sneek at peek at Lindsey and Sheri's blogs and see what goodies were in their kits. Yasu is on vacation...luck girl!

Decisions

We got the official email from Sheri our fearless Mystic Paper Design Team captain. Our March project sacks are ready at Mystic. march?...March?....MARCH already!?!?

I picked up my kit yesterday...Lindsey was there getting hers too.

My sack had one of the new Paper Loft patterned paper lines. If you haven't seen the wonderful display Jennifer set-up of these papers, just as you walk in the front door at Mystic, you'll have to stop by and take a look. The line I got for my project is called "Grandmas House". Great colors and even better it's two sided. There was also gorgeous aqua ribbon and a token...

The assignment was two 12x12 layouts-or-one 12x12 layout and one card-or-one project of your choice.
Decisions...decisions!

A place for everything ?

There comes a time in every designers life when you have to just stop and clean your room. I'm not what you would call a neat designer, I have everything out on the table, papers stacked on top of cutters, scraps on the floor and glue on my fingers. Most of the time I know where all my supplies are because I reorganized the room two years ago when my husband's Mother's Day gift to me were built in shelves. Everything had to come out of the room for this to be done, so I made a point of giving every item a home when I put it back. Every paper, album, brad and rub on in it's own spot with a label. I have pretty much stayed organized. I had noticed in the last few months I was spending longer and longer looking for things, only to be surprised to find something I had been looking for tucked in with a totally unrelated item. Saturday afternoon I finally broke down and cleaned my room. Pulled out the loose flowers, ink pads, buttons and put them back in the baskets where belong. Loose drifting idea pages went into file folders and stashes of paper placed back in the stacking trays. The table is now cleaned off and ready for a project. Even after all this I still can't find the package of pink rhinestones I know are in this room somewhere!
