This dainty little girl is dancing through a back ground of pink daises, blinged with Fruit Punch and Lime Green Stickles.
She is all dressed up in a blue frilly dress, that has been outlined with a glitter pen and Waterfall and Star Dust Stickles. She is carrying three gold hearts in her skirt. Handing from her hand are two red heart rhinestones. The edges of the tag are inked with Spun Sugar Distress Ink

Baby Tags
I've been playing with TAGS again...this time it's all about the BABY.
This cute baby boy image is from a vintage woman's magazine cover. Bits of lace, blue checked patterned paper, some Stickles (blinging up the bath water), distress ink and a blue butterfly charm
For a baby girl it's all about the PINK ... vintage baby girl card image, ribbon, Stickles, pink patterned paper, a doilie, distress ink and a pink ribbon flower.
I put the cap on the Stickles for this antique looking tag... vintage baby photo and buggy ad, ecru lace, distress ink, tissue tape, and 3 three old buttons from a button box.

better hide the toys
There was a crop at my house yesterday. My granddaughter came over for the day...pulled out her scrapbook supplies and started in designing cards for her friends. I brought a project I was working on in to the dining room and joined her. Her favorite supply is pink glitter glue...everything has to have glitter on it and it has to be pink.

I had brought in my Distress Ink...Tattered Rose, to add to my project, and DGD decided she needed some on her cards also. I asked her if she wanted me to show her how to use it...."no, I know how".

Before we were finished, she had tried the paper cutter too, using scissors just takes too long.

Pink Over Load

I went in to a pink overload on this card...pink card stock, pink petal patterned paper, red heart (how did that get in there?) misted with Tattered Angels Vintage Pink Glimmer mist, pink organza embellished with sparkles....
zig zag stitched with sliver thread onto the papers, pink silk flower with a pink gem brad...also misted with glimmer mist and pink braided ribbon accented with sliver.
Too much pink?

Cupids and Hearts
When mom was here last week she brought me a present from Tucson. She found these 2 cupids in a Thrift shop and knew I was looking for valentine decorations. I cut out a pink petal heart for the two day dreamers to sit on and Mom used a pink heart crown I had from another project to add some bling to the display.
This is the Valentines Day Card I designed for 2007.
The patterned paper is from Melissa Frances, the pink heart brad is Heidi Swapp,Tattered Rose distress ink and some little pink puffy hearts.

Valentines Day prep
I got called in to working extra days this week at the flower shop. The preparation to get ready for Valentines Day is nuts. If you every want to see organized chaos, visit the workroom of a flower shop the week of Valentines, just stay against the wall or you will get run over.
I have been making Valentines Cards...yup, lots of pink! I am about finished with those and in the meantime I'll post some of my past Valentine cards until the "big unveiling" of this years. But remember just like the Christmas cards...they do improve over the years. This is one of the first Valentines Day cards that I made. I used a vintage Valentine post card, scanned and printed. The darker red background had the look of a handmade paper that had been covered with lacquer.

The 7 Gypsies are still in the sack waiting for me to come and play.

THINK PINK!
Got the new monitor up and running, we're back in business!
We were talking about my Mystic Paper Design Team project for November. The paper in my kit was all soft pastels, perfect for all the spring, baby and wedding ideas. But I went way out of the box and came up with a Christmas album. That's right PINK for Christmas.
Before you say "she has really gone too far with this idea"... have you seen the front cover of Scrapbook Etc. for November/December. The Christmas layout is in PINK and green.
The front cover of Romantic Homes magazine...PINK for Christmas.
So we are going PINK! And who doesn't love all the sparkly glitter this time of year?
Yes, the album is loaded with glitter. I know what you are thinking...wouldn't this be a great gift for your aunt-cousin-secret sister-coworker-neighbor. And you are right, it would be!
Heck it would look wonderful sitting on your coffee table for your friends and family to woo and aah over while they are visiting during the holiday season.
Come on! You can do this...just think PINK
