Valentines, Tags and Sisters

We still have a few days of February left so I'm sure it's legal for me to post Valentines.  They are from my sisters. Ever year we make and exchange Valentine cards.
This card was created by my Flagstaff Sister...I like the combination of the red and pink flourishes, blue background and yellow ribbon.
This fun Valentine was designed by my  Tucson Sister...a vintage BINGO card with red felt hearts. Notice the music background stamp.
The three of us have different styles so it's always fun to see what kind of Valentines they create.

I was so busy this year I didn't get a card made, but I did make Valentines tags and sign them on the back with "Happy Valentines Day" and sent them out. That counts...doesn't it?

That's what it's all about...

Valentines Day is all about glittered  hearts, bouquets flowers and white dove. Exchanging Valentine cards with friends and love ones and that very special someone. Getting all dressed up for a night out with a romantic dinner and some dancing. A gift of jewelry is always nice a nice touch
Oh yes...and chocolate, lots of chocolate!

Dancing through the Daises

This dainty little  girl is dancing through a back ground of pink daises,  blinged with Fruit Punch and Lime Green Stickles.
She is all dressed up in a blue frilly dress, that has been outlined with a glitter pen and Waterfall and Star Dust Stickles. She is carrying three gold hearts in her skirt. Handing from her hand are two red heart rhinestones.  The edges of the tag are inked with Spun Sugar Distress Ink

Upcycle, Re Purpose, and Valentines

As promised I have Valentines Day tags to share.
I love the charm of a 1900's Valentine postcard...hearts, flowers, cupids and ethereal photos of young ladies staring off in the distance.
By cutting out the wonderful vintage image, layering it on a pink flower patterned paper... adding Fruit Punch and Star Dust Stickles, glitter pen, a bit of pink lace, Prima flower and a red heart rhinestone you get a "re purposed","upcycle" Valentine Tag.

If you listen very carefully you can hear what the young girl is saying...
"This is boring, why can't we go to the mall?"
